I was frustrated because the prices weren’t clear from the start. Extra fees popped up later, and when I had questions, it felt like my concerns were kind of dismissed instead of actually explained. I just wish everything had been more upfront.

I tried using BlackBook to look up car values, thinking I’d get a solid reality check before making any decisions. Instead, it felt like I had opened the curtain on a pricing mystery show where none of the numbers were cooperating.

The values were way different from what dealers and other sites were showing, and even tiny changes in options caused these bizarre jumps. I know estimates are never going to be perfect, but this felt dramatic in the worst way.

I definitely wouldn’t use it as the main source for buying or selling a car. Maybe it’s fine for a very rough ballpark, but I wouldn’t trust it when real money is on the line

I reached out to support expecting at least some kind of response, but I never got one. I checked back and waited, but there were no replies at all, which was frustrating from my experience.

I used blackbook.com for a bit and overall it was okay. The billing/subscription part wasn’t super clear to me, though maybe I missed something somewhere. I had to reach out to support and they did help in the end, it just took longer than I was expecting.

I’m usually a little skeptical when a site claims to be “simple” or “seamless” because that’s usually company-speak for clicking through a bunch of junk. But this one was actually easy to use. I found what I needed quickly and didn’t have to dig around forever. Overall, it was smooth and I don’t really have anything to complain about.

I used this before trading in my car, mostly so I wouldn’t walk into the dealership completely clueless. The value it gave was close to what the dealer offered, maybe a little generous, but hey, I guess optimism is nice. Still, it helped me have a decent idea of what to expect, which is more than I can say for the usual trade-in guessing game
